some of MOBs parts?
It's one of mine.  I made it for MOB when he was experimenting with his supercharger conversion. Usually I use the stock throttle assembly but for his version I fitted an endplate and mounted twin throttles. There's a pic of it fitted to his car on my web page.

As i know its pretty custom and when some one turns up on a forum with very few posts and says,

seemed a bit suspect

He sold the 4i last year.

It was on a stock plenum though I think.

I tried to buy this plenum of this Billybigspuds character. But it looks like I got screwed..

But at least it looks like I got him banned from PassionFord.. Better than nothing..

Have a look at: http://passionford.com/forum/passionford-policies-and-problems/368327-warning-never-do-buisness-with-billybigspuds.html]http://passionford.com/forum/passionford-p...lybigspuds.html

Well, lesson learned. If I€™ll do business outside eBay I€™ll better do it with you guys here on FordPower..

Does anybody know this Billybigspuds? I still want this plenum..

His name is Lee Applin from Southampton???

i cant read the story on passion ford.

did you already contacted the rozzers, i mean, the police? if you know his name and where he lives, it should not be a problem to arrest him.

I don€™t think the police will bother. We€™re not talking big money..

It€™s just f...king frustrating..

This is what i've posted on PassionFord:

Warning!! Never do buisness with Billybigspuds!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You€™ve been warned!! Never do business with Billybigspuds you might be ripped off!!

I contacted him after I came across this thread: http://passionford.com/forum/general...ml#post5109884]http://passionford.com/forum/general...ml#post5109884

We agreed to do business. I€™d transfer money and he€™ll send med the plenum.
This was back in May/June. I transferred the cash and he confirmed he'd received them. However, he never sent me the plenum..

I had contact with him on both PM and e-mail, but he stopped answering me a few weeks after the money had arrived. When I started asking for track&trace number for the shipment..

Today I even tried to call him. As soon as I told my name, he made some strange noises and hang up. Tried several times but he only answered the first time...

Some of you might say, what a naive idiot, transferring money to a stranger. And yes I might be, but I€™ve done business with a lot of guys from UK, both on eBay and forums, and all of them (except billybigspuds) have been really helpful, serious and reliably.

I€™m not sure what the forum rules allows me to do, but I€™ve got his full name, address and banking detail, and I€™m tempted to post his full name and address just to prevent anybody else of being ripped off!!

Alternatively, send his banking details to a nice Nigerian banker who often sends me emails with €œgreat€ offers...

PS! If Billybigspuds, or Lee, would like to contact me, private or in this tread, give me a credible explanation or show interest in straighten out this issue; I€™d gladly erase this thread as soon as this issue is solved..

Regards
Knut, Norway

Then I got this reply from one moderator:

Well as you both did the deal outside of the "buying and selling rules" of Passionford then its down to you to sort out between yourselves...

This whole situation is a superb example of why we do NOT allow whats it worth type posts for non gold members and in General Discussion.

Had you bought the item in the correct manner ie from a for sale thread from a Gold Member then I would do everything i could to help you recoup your fees as I have done, and have been successful in doing so, before. However I will not be getting involved any further with this issue becuase of the way the deal was conducted.

I am however going to be looking at banning the user Billybigspuds as he has had previous infractions for non goldmember advertising and this is the final straw now.

On that note i will close this thread.

And at last a super moderator wrote this:

and he has also been banned for life due to racist insults banded about when he was apples24 ..
so every time he appears he should be banned with no question ..
people like him are not welcome on passionford...

1 lesson learned, never pay with money transfer.

only credit card (only company's) or paypal. at least this way the money is secured against these theft or lose off the goods.

its also a good idea for forums to use a seller/buyer feedback system.

as for calling the police, you never know how it ends. they can do nothing or they can arrest him.

Sorry to hear about this KIB.

I suspect the police wont do anything let alone arrest him Paul.......they`re useless at the best of times over here!

Did the guy not come on here himself and post asking about info as I`m sure there were two posts or am I getting mixed up with the XRoC board?!?
