Hi ladies and germs. Thanks for having such a nice forum here. And for allowing such like as myself to join up and become a participant.

My company makes and sells various parts for the Cologne V6, Pinto OHC, Lima OHC, and Kent OHV engine families. We also do a lot with the SBF V8, especially as it relates to special parts for Capri re-engine projects.

Been a racer and rallyist since 1977, when I won the inaugural Milan (Indiana) to Paris (Kentucky) Cannonball Run. Especially memorable was the jump from the bank onto the ferry at E-Town. But I dunno if the legal statute of limitations has run, so I shan't say more about that leap over the Ohio River....

Next up is a planned 18,000mi London-Mongolia-London Rally (charity, Save The Children), leaving in mid-July.

Enuf blah-blah about me, guess it is what you're sposed to do in a intro yourself thread, but it's heinous to inflict on people.

Thanks for the forum once more, and I hope to assist as best I can anyone who needs help. (Or who can help me! I need some help! Ask my mates! ;-))

Norm

Hi Norm

Welcome to Ford Power!

Have visited your Internet site several times. A lot of interesting reading.

How‚‚žÂs Capri business in the US then?
Still some Capris around or are they getting scarce? Or are there still people around interesting in saving this old European Car?

Regards

Knut from Norway

Thanks, Knut!

Capri business is down along with the rest of the car industry. Not good for the hobbyist, with much disappearing from all sorts of specialist suppliers. I'm starting to think Fiat parts might be more fertile ground? They are buying up everybody else it seems today! ;-)

Lots of Capris around, but lots are going back to earth for lack of jobs/income by the owners to restore.

Buy something from us, Knut! ;-)

You know, the most famous American football coach in history shares your first name, my friend. I coach too, but no one will remember "Coach Norm, All-American", heh-heh-heh.

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Hello Norm!

Welcome to our community on the internet!

As a Capri racer and genuine Ford nut I'm sure you will fit right in with the rest of the crowd here.  With a little luck you may even learn a thing or two, too!
In here no case is too small or too big to discuss.  We all try to contribute the best we can.

I've been following the Capri-list since the early days and I know it is a privilege to have you and Team Blitz onboard! Thanks for joining!
