Told you it was Typhoon
Tornado is the pick-up.
Not sure where you got Cyclone from!
Washing Powder Perhaps

If you want a proper rear wheel performance Ford you best move down under or get one shipped
You can even get a paddle shift auto so no Maddoldbugger mods needed.

Oh & you can take it upto about 1200bhp if you want.

Ford Performance Vehicles has set a new benchmark in the Australian high performance car segment with the mind blowing F6 Typhoon.

Delivering a staggering 550Nm of torque, the highest torque output of any Australian built production engine, and 270kW of power from the turbo-charged and intercooled 4.0 litre six-cylinder F6 270 Turbo engine. The F6 Typhoon offers world-class standards of space and grace, whilst maintaining FPV's class-leading safety and refinement package. The F6 Typhoon further reinforces FPV's mantra of Total Performance.

The F6 270 Turbo - a 4-litre turbo-charged, intercooled, 24-valve double overhead cam six. The highest torque output of any production six ever built in Australia and one of the most powerful in the world. Through partnership with Prodrive and their mastery of turbo technology across F1 and World Rally, the development of our high performance turbo-charged FPV has changed performance cars forever. We created an engine with dramatically improved cooling and induction. The 50% larger (than XR6 Turbo) air-to-air intercooler and dual Ram Air system significantly reduces intake pressure into the turbo's compressor - allowing it to work more efficiently‚æ and effectively.

The F6 Typhoon features a T56 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission. This technologically advanced gearbox puts absolute power in the palm of your hand. Sharing an AP Racing twin-plate clutch with the US Ford GT, it's designed to handle the tremendous force of 550Nm of torque.

Auto fans can option up to a ZF 6-speed high-torque automatic transmission with Sequential Sports Shift at no cost. This high-performance automatic gearbox offers the best of both worlds. Its sequential shift system allows the driver to make fast, clean manual gear changes to maximize the available power for acceleration or quick downshifts. When in full auto mode, the adaptive shift system changes characteristics to suit your individual driving style.

This has me confused. It looks like a Holden/Monaro, a GM badged car usually fitted with an LSx engine?

Mike well them Aussie cars all look the same

It's built by FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles)
They have only been around for 6 years or so.

It's like SVE (Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering) in the U.K a special department of the mother company.

The Typhoon is based on a Ford Falcon which I think was a copy of a Granada along time ago.

eerrmm dave i agree i might have got "tornado wrong, should have been typhoon but i did say i wasnt sure"
here is a syclone!

Both the Syclone and Typhoon trucks featured a Mitsubishi TD06-17C 8 cm² turbocharger and Garrett water/air intercooler attached to a 4.3 L LB4 V6 engine with unique pistons, main caps, head gaskets, intake manifolds, fuel system, exhaust manifolds, and a 48mm twin bore throttle body from the 5.7 L GM Small-Block engine. All SycloneTyphone's had a 700R4 (4L60) 4-speed automatic transmission. A Borg Warner all wheel drive transfer case split torque with 35% forward and 65% to the rear wheels.[1] Both trucks featured sport modifications to the standard suspensions. The Syclone was the first production truck to receive a 4 wheel anti-lock braking system. Output was 280 hp (209 kW) and 350 lb·ft (475 N·m).[1] The Syclone, when new, was capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and could do a quarter-mile run in 13.4 seconds at 98 mph (158 km/h).
