Would anyone be interested in taking up the oportunity for a meet at bruntinghorpe Leicestershire for a high speed run day ?

Nice one! Not done Brunters yet. Shame my mate is selling his Ultima in the next few weeks - I've been in that at 160 mph and it still has 30 mph to go. 0-60 in under 3 seconds. Yum.

i been there twice,,, great fun

i was quoted £5000 a day to hire the track!!!!

Seems managing a whole event would be akward and hard work. I would need 83 cars at £100 each, as its £7000. + vat, which would mean less track time each than attending their allready organised advent we can book together they have spaces for the 28TH MAY at £100 +  I will post up details of Track day.  Gonna be speaking with them again tomorrow to see what else mayby on offer.
No more than 60 cars on the day.
 
2008 BRUNTINGTHORPE TRACK DAY                                                                
     
CIRCUIT    2 mile Sprint Circuit     
FORMAT    Open Pit Lane - Up to 25 cars on circuit at once      
NOISE LIMIT    98bd Static    87.5 drive by
All cars will be noise tested on arrival and Event Staff have the authorisation to stop vehicles on circuit should you exceed this noise limit.
      
RESTRICTIONS   All participants must hold a valid full driver‚‚žÂs licence and be over the age of 17 years old
   
 
COSTS      
Payment is by cheque made payable to Big Thunder prior to the day to secure your booking.

Payment for any additional drivers or passengers can be made prior to the day, or alternatively you can pay for these on the day.

Cash or cheques will be accepted on the day.
Please be aware we do NOT have credit card facilities.

TRACK DAY NOTES      

·1   Access to Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground for track days is from 08:30 hours.

·2   On arrival a coloured sticker will be placed on your windscreen for security purposes. Do not remove this until you have left site after the event.

·3   Turn LEFT once you are through security and follow the Yellow Line to the Pits area.

·4   Signing-in will take place in the Pits Cabin where you will be asked to sign the track day declaration and indemnity form. All drivers, additional drivers and passengers MUST sign in on arrival.  

·5   You will be issued with a wrist band identifying if you are the main driver, a 2nd driver or a passenger.

·6   Front seat passengers only are permitted, and must be over 17 years of age.

·7   A drivers briefing will take place outside the Pits Cabin at 09:30 hours and all drivers MUST attend.

·8   If you are new to Bruntingthorpe please make the staff aware and they can give you some additional briefing notes about the circuit.

·9   Helmets must be worn on circuit at all times except on familiarisation laps. They are available to hire if you do not have your own.

·10   There will be instructors available on site for one to one tuition and it is advisable to pre book this. Tuition is booked in 20 minute sessions.

·11   The Circuit will open at 10:00 hours with familiarisation laps and we then operate an open pit lane procedure.

·12   There will be approximately 20 vehicles on the circuit at any one time.

·13   The Circuit will close for 1 hour for lunch.

·14   There will be a catering van on site all day serving hot and cold drinks and food.

·15   The Circuit will close at 16:00 hours.

·16   When leaving the site drive down the access road beside the Control Tower and turn left and follow the Yellow Line to the security gate.

·17   Please do not bring pets.

·18   Please be aware that there is no fuel on site so come with a full tank!

The date is Saturday the 31st of May.  U need own incar timing equipement ect as 0-60 ect are not allowed as its a track day.
If your up for booking let me know.
