Hi Guys,

Mate of mine has a '95' Golf diesel which has a choke?  Why would a diesel need a choke?

Cheers

I seem to remember something about a fast idle, like a hand throttle to keep the revs up while you
go back indoors and have a cup of tea while it warms up and de-frosts.
