What to do
« on: February 08, 2008, 11:00:52 AM »
I'm thinking of doing some engine work to my 2.9 4be and don't know which way to go. Got a couple of ideas
24 V cosworth
Twin turbo
Supercharger
V8
Oh and i want to keep it 4wd but will run a management on all of the above. Just wondering what people have done and what they recommend but i'm doing all the work myself as i;m mad

V8 V8 V8 V8 V8 V8, and if you can fabricate it to still run 4x4 you'll be in a very exclusive club
Failing that it has to be the supercharger route really, lots of people run 24v and obviously there are quite a number of 2.9 TT conversions about. Off the top of my head I can only think of Rob (super 12v) and Dave Ward (sparkplug) who have supercharger conversions   (Although no doubt there are more out there)
