Thanks for the compliments guys @ fezski & xr4man it's a 2.0 Twinky 4x4 Ghia (at the moment but if funds become available who knows)

That is sweet...   Where did you get the rear spoiler....   I've been looking for something like that for mine for a while now.


Do you have problems with the button to open the rear door...  Mine seems to get stuck and it's a real pain in the bum even worse now it's so cold, as it freezes...  I'm wondering if it's a common problem with the estate or just mine..

Sorry Chris only just seen your comments (thank you) not been on for a while (oopps)
The  rear spoiler I made my self cos like you I couldnot find anyone that makes one for the estate (not even Ford ) as for the rear lock mine is a 92 spec so no button only key or internal lever operation you might try greaseing the internal mechanisim in the tailgate to keep out the ice/frost or just spray WD40 into the key hole & around the outside of the button every couple of weeks in the cold weather it worked on my Mk 1 hatch I had a few years back
