I once got something included with my elm327 adapter.
Did work ok,but Torque for Android works a lot better..

I train customers on engine management.Torque on android and a £4.99 elm bluetooth adapter works ok.
you can get codes and clear but to diagnose an engine you would need to spend considerably more.
