Quote from: v6gerry on September 15, 2011, 19:53:42 PMso do you mean the GT30 flows more ex gases and won't have the problem i have had with pushing the waste gate open ?
Quote from: heaamodt on September 16, 2011, 15:08:41 PMI have made good results on the 24v vith one of these gt35 turbo`s.They have a 61.3/82mm compressor wheel and a 62/67.8 turbine wheel. .70/.63AR
Quote from: robrs2 on September 12, 2011, 00:24:52 AMThats a big hill Did you find out why the torque drops like it does?
Quote from: Dave on September 12, 2011, 10:59:10 AMSorry to say you can see by the graph that turbo does not suit the engine. The turbine end flows too much so it spools late & the compressor end flows too little hence the nose diving torque plot!It will be off the effiency maps.

Quote from: v6gerry on March 24, 2013, 12:56:57 PMHi i used the alcon 6 paddle in my escort 4x4 and its very user friendly , was talking with someone of here 2 weeks ago and i think he had organic and hated it , the alcon was reconmended to me from this site , Ade is using one the peddle feels almost std .gerry
Quote from: v6gerry on March 24, 2013, 22:11:13 PMi had my f/wheel skimmed when fitting my alcon , my prop shaft is direct with no rubber in it , now its bedded in it seems fine , would like to go hydrolic but there not much room under bonnet for m/cyl .
Quote from: turboshed on March 24, 2013, 20:44:51 PMif your flywheel is not ground flat then clutches will judder on take up,could be a high spot.I have a twin plate paddle clutch and get no judder, its either on or off but the hydraulic set up i have works well. Does your paddle clutch have the springs on the centre boss? if so it could be those worn out,or if its solid it will judder if the flywheel is not flat, they act like a mini dual mass flywheel and protect transmission.
Quote from: turboshed on March 25, 2013, 00:37:52 AM I fitted my master cylinder in the car under the dash, fitted on the otherside of the pedal pivot and facing backwards, this increased my fulcrum and made for less effort on the foot but an utter twat to fill up to bleed the system its not leak as yet so hopefully wont have to bleed again anytime soon.

Did Nurburgring in Aug, did nearly 800 miles in a day there and back. Was bloody hot tho and had a few little issues but got me there and back so all good Used the car for a weekend jaunt to Amsterdam to see friends in November and its been tucked away ever since lol. Have fitted a 3.36.1 rear diff now and I am literally about to have the gearbox out to get it freshened up and try an organic clutch as I'm pissed off with the harshness of the 4 paddle Also booked into Emerald next month for a health check as my mate Pete has now finished twin turboing his BOB Capri so it made sense to travel up at the same time How's the 3dr coming along?
