far better with type9 i think mt75's dont like getting hit with 2nd gear to fast :wacko:
and yes the car was build to do one thing and did it very well on the track and the odd nite on the backroads :rolleyes:

Isn't it the opposite in fact?

Because there is higher pressure at the windshield bay.

Their is no lot of solutions for cooling under the bonnet, see hood extractor of Sierra RS cosworth, 205 T16, Astra GSI, all are placed in vincinity of the first third to the middle of the bonnet to  use the depression for sucking the hot under bonnet air (air is moving fast so depression is creates)

in fact by raising the rear of the bonnet there is chance to disturb air circulation more than other things.

Just wonder why air is comming inside the car without fan on , it's just using the windshield bay air pressure.

Regis is right, there is higher pressure at the windshield when the speed goes up, this pushes the air in the engine bay.

it ran cooler with it up like that so worked out ok for me
