Hi

Im new to the forum.

I dont own a Ford - but have had an Essex powered car for 30 years.

I hope to learn here and share my experiences.

Presently - I have just had my latest Essex V6 Dyno'd at Aldon Automotive , and saw 218 at the wheels.

Unfortunately - the car is not road legal - but its a load of fun anyway.

Just in case you guys wanted to rip into me about the car - heres a picture .

Im out with the car most weekends - and enjoy a reasonable amount of sucess - this was Castle Coombe.

Be kind - I know its plastic

Cheers

Presently - the car weighs in at 1040kg - but this winter should see 960kg

The 6 point cage and extinguisher system didnt help

Thanks for the welcome

Thats light, when you think what a car with that running gear would weigh if it was all steel - it would be 3.0 granada weight and your car is lighter than a 1.3 mk1 capri:biggrin: I had a go in a race spec lotus exige once upon a time and have been weight obsessed ever since
