250 hp from a stock BOA yeah right.

My BOA made 225 hp max.

I know of a BOA with BOB cams with another few tweaks made 236 hp

And when it says Topboss i'd well stay clear of it!

Don't know where you guy's get these fancy BHP figures from. My BOA, which had a ground up rebuild, has BOB cams, Vectra injectors, custom made headers and a Megasquirt ECU, and the best we could get on the R/R was 217 BHP and 220 Lbs torque. Cheers Ray Oh! and as for TB, just piss in the wind figures IMHO.

Guess I had a sound engine then.

My stock BOA made 225 hp and 216 ft/lb torque.

Seems like I had a decent engine then. Just had a freeflow airfilter and twin 50mm exhausts.

There are some people on the chevrolet forums who get high figures especially in the US where they have ponies and we have stallions, lol .  So this is talked about quite a lot by those in the know.

Some say it's to do with where the temperature probe is placed. You can place it near the radiater so it reads hot like on a very hot day and then use corrected figures to get a high dyno figure from the wheels.  At the end of the day dyno stuff can be manipulated so you need to use the same dyno and operator all the time to tune the car.  Then you'll know if your mods are better or worse.

You can't compare one dyno with another because operators use different ways to get the results.

Erm I know of fast road BOA cams.

They are called BOB cams.

You can get aftermarket cams for the 24v from Piper tho.

dave walker @ emerald has mapped quite a few 24v's in various cars,a standard 24v with a k3 ecu makes 230bhp,tubular mainfolds add 10-15bhp,so it is possible with bob cams to get close to 250bhp,i have maps for the 24 n/a and a 24v supercharged 360bhp @5600 rpm and 350ftlbs torque.
we will see as i'll be starting rebuilding my first 24v soon, this will be boa with bob cams, slighty higer c/r and hopefully an emerald k3,a free reving engine with 250bhp is the target.
xr4x4 twin dinky turbo, emerald k3 management,302bhp and 400ftlbs@21 psi
