« on: June 07, 2009, 12:46:52 PM »
hi all
Ive been a keen sierra4b owner and forum user on the xroc for many years now and was happy to find this site.
ive been folowing closely and with much interest the engineering projects undertaken by MOB, Rob, Taps and others for ages
i am just starting my own 24v conversion on my sierra so it looks like ive found the right site.
it was a nice suprise to see many posters are relatively local to me for a change

ps wtf is the little white box with a 2 pin plug mounted next to the coil pack?
its a boa

Welcome to FordPower

That little white box is a interference suppressor.........If you`ve got the wiring for it you might as well plug it in. Some people keep it some people dont. I binned it on my Boa escort and zetec conversions when I do cutsom looms and never had any problems.
