Personally responsible for and first to develop & produce:-

6.3 litre V8 engine upgrade for Aston Martin Ltd, now officially offered by Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd as an official Factory fitted upgrade.
7 litre V8 upgrade for Aston Martin engines.
7.3 litre V8 upgrade for Aston Martin 2x and 4x valve engines.
Officially recognised modern replacement camshafts for Aston Martin DB4, DB5 & DB6 engines.
4.7 litre 6 cylinder up grade for DB4, DB5 and DB6 Aston Martin engines.
1st 6cyl 4.5 litre Aston Martin engine in DB4-6 range to exceed 430 BHP.
3.8 litre 438 BHP DB7 engine
Rocker shaft conversions for V6 "Essex" engine.
Chambered Ford X flow cylinder heads.
4 Barrel Holley Carburettor kits for V6 engines.
Steel timing gear sets for V6 "Essex” and “Cologne” series “Ford” engines.
Roller rockers for V6 "Essex" engine.
Chambered cylinder heads for Chrysler Avenger engine.
2 litre all steel engine conversion for Chrysler Avenger engine.
3.2 litre all steel engine conversion for "Cologne" 2.8 litre V6 engine.
6 port cylinder heads for "Cologne" 2.8 litre V6 engine.
6 port X over inlet manifold for "Cologne" 2.8 litre V6 engine.
Steel counter weighted ultra light flywheel for V6 "Essex" engine.

I'm going to see him on sunday - I had emailed him at his company Austec about me making my own intake manifold and he got back and said they handed all the ford v6 stuff over to swaymar years and years ago but he said if i bring him some heads he'll show me how to unsiamese them without any welding, just milling and said he would discuss the intake manifolds at length - cool huh?    - if anyone else wants to come along give us a shout - hes still doing engine work now, infact hes going to shot pean my rods

I have heard of him.

I thought he was the main guy ar Swaymar years ago.

Frode has bought stuff off him.

The way he does the heads is the same way SE engines do theirs as they are copies  

Be great if you did a write up of that as I have been told how to do it by 3rd hand info so be nice to have it from the horses mouth  

The crank sounds like the one used in high spec 24V FBE's, something to do with Jaguar?????
Be good if you could get info on that too.

Dave, its an open day at his current company, where hes technical engineering director. They are race engine builders so you might find it quite interesting www.austec.co.uk - they are in Berkshire so not too far for me but if you can't make it I'll find out what i can and report back on the FBE motors. What i find out on the head conversion, will go into a detailed post, including some pictures as he asked me to bring my heads along. Same wiv the x-over inlet manifold - If anyone can tell me how to unsiamese the std item, he can, so I'm taking that too, along with a dictaphone, a camera and a list of questions. tbh, he seemed  realy nice on the phone, genuinely happy to talk at length about his work. It will also be interesting to see the stuff he works on nowadays like TVRs and stuff hes been doing for years - Aston Martins.

i use austec as a rolling road. he said i had too much power for a 2.8 and it would blow up. mean while the other guy's were winding up my boost. david kept saying i would be charged for the clean up when it went
