been registered ages, first post and not a good one.

this belongs to someone i know.

I got a call today from a mate who saw my Escort being towed down the street yesterday. He thought it was me so gave me a call. I've reported it to the Police and they are going to look at CCTV to try and trace the vehicle that towed it away.

I had some welding done to it a little while ago getting it ready for it's MOT, so suspect the lad who did the welding has tipped others off as to it's location. Nothing else has been touched in the garage, but the door has been ripped from the top leaving the padlocks intact.

Mk1 Escort 1100L two door Saphire Blue YVJ 548K.

he's from northampton, keep an eye out in the midlands if you can. most likely taken for its shell, someone in the trade must know.

someone did do their homework....

Car was last seen yesterday being towed on Beanfield Avenue, Corby heading towards a dual carriageway close to the A6003 at around lunchtime.
The Escort was on a four wheel car trailer being towed by a black Peugeot 406. One of the neighbours saw it being loaded up at the w/end but thought it was me, as I have a black Peugeot 406.

its listed as stolen on ebay.

i hope you get it back.

if some loaded it up, you can be sure they want it for parts.

if its stolen out off the garage box, most likely its the work from people you know and know about the car and where its stored. that welder would be the first one on my list to have a little chat whit.
