  Hey there everyone I just thought I would show you a new developement from Flo-Flex in Rhyl.

I had these knocked up from a set of my origional XR4x4 engine mounts and I am pleased to say that they look fantastic and perform really well too.

Hard to believe that a pair of engine mounts can look so sexy (automotively speaking of course). Is flo-flex the new name for Deflex or Spectra dymanics. They're also in Rhyl. Got a full set for my 4i from them for just under £100. Made a HUGE differance. Have used them a few times since for V8 custom mount inserts.

Have they given a production cost for future orders.

They look very good and with a centre bolt that comes out they should be easier to install

They look really close to my Type 7's.  Then again, there isn't much variation to the design.  

Nice looking pieces though.  Mine will still run you less

and there just as good. i bought the bushes and cups from chuck and made my own engine mounth's for the capri v8. they wher alote beter than the orginal hydrolic/rubber mounth's. it solved the vibration problem that i had in the car at 2700 rpm and the car feels more direct and responsive to the trottle.

Hi mate, yes you are correct about them previously being Deflex.
The mounts are fantastic to be honest, the main reason that I went to them for the manufacture is because of my colour scheme for my sapphire as all of my bushes are from them and are in orange so I need to stay with the theme in hand.
I believe that they are going to be up for about £90 the pair but will confirm this on monday and let everyone know.

They are so easy to fit even with the engine only raised slightly on a jack so well happy

Having had a look at yours mate they are similar to yours and all the other mounts, I didn't fancy paying vibratecnics or collins prices and was impressed with your prices but even you couldn't beat the price I got mine for

I got a pair of these based on that they were advertised as suitable for the 24v - so I presumed they would fit straight in. The mechanic went to fit them and they wouldn't fit which has left me a bit confused   . This might be just a misunderstanding on how these fit due to the bolt coming out but I don't know

Car was a standard RWD twinky prior to conversion. I need to work out what goes with what for mounts - i.e.

1. Can the original DOHC mount and arm take the 24v engine?

2. Can you then use a BOA mount with a twinky arm?

Any other reasons why these mounts would not fit?

i have bought a full set of these incl engine mount and all the other bushings for £122.00 plus P&P


Havnt fitted them yet

Hey there, I've not been on here for a while but to clear up any confusion these mounts are suitable for the following vehicles.
Sierra 2.0 4x4 (and estate)
Sierra 2.8 4x4 (and estate)
Sierra 2.9 4x4 (and estate)
Escort cosworth (4x4 obviously)
Sapphire cosworth 4x4
Granada 4x4
Early mk1 Sierra (I believe but unsure)
Sapphire 2.0 ghia 4x4
Any ford with a sierra 4x4, sapphire/escort cosworth 4x4 alloy cross member.
