I have over 1000 transactions under my belt. I don't have any major issues with their rules...

Ive bought and sold on there for ages now and the only thing I don't agree with is the way bids placed with bid assistant don't show till will they are beaten or matched yet count as having been placed hours or days ealier. It means the current bid on the screen is bullshit and that although you may out bid the the bid shown as current bid, you have to beat a price you cannot see - its totaly wrong in my opinion.

Apart from that little gripe, which in all honesty only pissed me off on one auction, I like ebay.

this must be the place then were all the ebay fans gather!!lol i'm just a bit miffed that i had something taken off, all i was doin was what everyone else did, i stated that my item was advertised elsewhere and they did not like it, surely this is done so you don't end up giving it away, everyone likes a bargain and we have all had them, and i have had some results as we all have, but when i put something on that is worth good money i expect to get good money for it. if is is not going good then you should be able to take it off, there is a vast difference between taking a bit of a loss and actually giving something away

so work the fees into the reserve! when i sell something, i workout what the fees will total and add that to my starting price or buy it now.

i don't bother with reserve's if people bid and it keeps saying not met they give up rather then bidding up to what they'd pay for it,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150293376839&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=005]http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...E:IT&ih=005

started that on £1 with no reverve as i do all my cars, tends to get a lot of intertest and it still goes for what you want, currently on 89 watchers.

The thing that hacks me off is i bidded on some books sent of paypal payment, nothign arrived put in complaints and claims nothing....thats £63 down the toilet, so beware the paypal and ebay gurantees there not worth the paper there printed on, thing that annoys me is i went for this particular seller as he was well establishged and had 600+ feedback....

John.... was that a plug to say you've relisted the Volvo. you thread hi jacker you!

We are mostly fans of Ebay, it does usually get you what you want, like everything it need to be used with caution, some things are over priced, I need a ford wheel trim, Ebay price £14.99 plus £3.95 delivery, Main dealer price £13.50!

i had a listing removed for keyword spaming i innocently put "Quinny Carry cot as new in the orginal box", apparently thats to close to new in box, i can see how that could be taken, however a pause on the aution and a chance to change the title would of been fairer than canceling it
