Just finished tarting these bits - got the valvecovers off the bay the other night for £56 and decided to to do the plenum to match. what do you think people?

also had a test assemble on the turbo/manifold and new wastegate.

Nice work, will look the nuts when they`re fitted on the engine  


Thats the one thing I`d wished I had spent abit more time on........cleaning and painting my rocker covers up on my 24v. Plenum wasnt the best condition to start with but at the time I just wanted it up and running.

Ive been doing bits like that when I'm held up on the the major work - things i can do in the house with the telly on and a brew to hand    I spose its not much hassle to whip them off yours and give em a makeover?

The flat black wrinkle finish always does it for my somehow.  

Looking pretty flash there.

 The crossover pipe for your manifolds, is it at the rear or going down the front?

linkpipe goes at the back - theres a cut out in the sump for it.

the raised sections are they polished?

i used paint...for upto 650 C  3 coats after completely stripping, sanding and cleaning inside them  
the raised sections i just rubbed flat with a sanding block and some 120 grit. just kept the block moving straight along the lines so it left like a brushed finish all running the same way

I'm sure theres better ways to have done this but i'm happy with it
