thinking of putting 195 45 13 tyres on the cappa instead of 205 60 13. how much will the speedo be out by and what will the gears drive like? the profile on the standard tyres would be about 12.5cm and the profile on the ones i like would be about 9cm SO i'm guessing it will do about 90mph when it reads 125mph?? is that correct? or would the lower profile tyres hold there shape more so retain more profile - maybe read about a ton at 120 indicated? these are the tyres i'm looking at - http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?details=Ordern&cart_id=62854897.110.21614&typ=351416000&ranzahl=4&Breite=195&Quer=45&Felge=13&Speed=H&weiter=0&kategorie=6&Ang_pro_Seite=12&Transport=P&F_F=&dsco=110&sowigan=So&Achse=]http://ssl.delti.com/cgi-bin/rshop.pl?deta...n=So&Achse=

Again off topic, but my Mrs thought the tom tom read a slower speed to her speedo because of the delay in the signal getting back from the satalite.... it couldn't keep up with her MR2....... err.... no dear.

look wrong so stuck em in the garage and  fitted 205/50/15.

you never know till you get them on the rims and bolted up on the car. Is the car lowered? ... cos that helps makes small wheels fill the arches. Did they look a lot smaller overall?
