FFS.... I would not even take my brother in laws car without asking ( well teling ) him first.. It's always a privilage when anyone says I can drive their car no mater what it is as it's their pride, joy & transport.

Common thief, not a friend. SCUM.

it's the state of the country to be fair, little supprises me these days, in fact the only supprise, is that people are still supprised at this kind of behaviour.

Mates and friends are two very different things, i've have heaps of mates, wouldn't trust them at all, i''ve only a few friends. they are hard to come by.

Its so bloody typical tho - div gets hold of quick car - div prangs it. I don't reccomend getting into trouble...so your son should make sure no witnesses when giving the div a slap (or 10)

That's exactly right, it's a sad thing nowadays but you have to watch your own back, everybody is out for what they can take. I used to take people at face value and saw it that until somebody did something to me they should be trusted, not anymore though, it's a sad old world

you just described me an the mrs lol - our excuse is that we aren't from this area so don't know anyone realy - I just met Grimbo off here cos he lives about a mile from me but other than that i know noone- my mates live miles away and tbh, they sigh and yawn when i mention my capri/car intrests so it suits me just fine having you guys to chat to...I'd be buggered with you lot tbh as most of my knowledge comes from this site. ALSO - not pissing money away socialising (drinking, eating out etc) means i have more money for the project - its win win win imo

when i was a very younf boy i ate dirt,, i cut my self and kept playing in dirt, i was in cars with no seat belts let alone air bags.the speed limit was broken often, No gatso/specs.
police cars had to follow for 1/4 to book you.
we had bobbys on the beat who clipped ya ear if ya was up to no good.

we never knew what e numbers where, we had tasteless school dinners and  walked the streets at night.
we used to leave our bikes out side the sweat shop while we got our sweats, we used to play in a canal and made rafts n boats, we fell out of tree houses. milk men, cole men and rag and bone men,
we used to build bikes after looking down the council rubbish dump for parts, i used to leave at 4.30am to do a paper round, 8 miles before school.

well after all  i did when i was a kid, going on todays standards i should be dead all ready!

since then, we have  E numbers, first aid kits at home, seat belts, air bags, healthy food???, hoodies, bike thieft, gangs, no trees or parks, fences around ponds and canals, people shouting at you if you go in,health and safty that scares every one, risk assesment, heart attacks, cancer over wieght problems, sun cream, supermarkets and industrial estates.

but what happend to spangles?????????????
and wagon wheels are the size of casters now

i can just remember when petrol was 35p, 20 woobines was 50p and ya used to get 4 black jacks for 1p...
TV screens where 6in and always finished with the white dot,
and when all the people ya met spoke english,(not being bias but when in england speak english)

the days where "fair" before it was replaced with "good business" and 24 hour service ment ya phone and some one rushes out to you,,, now it means they got an answering machine that tells ya to push this button or that button before cutting you off..
