Hmmm be interesting to know what quarters it does as some things don't add up with the engine.

35psi is more like 500bhp+ than 450ish or it should be.
28psi is 450bhp.
Torque would be something like 550lbs.

Would love to know what has been done to the heads to stop them cracking as they would for sure at that boost.

Still a mad engine or the same

Yeah it's the same engine, was taken from the corti and put in to the Sierra.

I'm guessing that blower is running close to 1:1 as the M112 is mahoosive for the engine

If i'm not mistaken the air goes through the turbos first then into the supercharger which only then is intercooled and sent into the engine - would it have worked better using the supercharger to spin up the turbos? He run an 11.1 in the cortina didn't he? Same as my mate's mini spaceframe with a built 383 chevy (450bhp/400lbs ft no nos and probably similar weight)

Too much plumbing. I reckon you could achieve the same results by linking both banks with large exhaust tubing using one big T4 (at least 0.82 ar exhaust) and a large whack of NOS to get the thing spinning.

Anyone know how the fuelling was done on this (in flight tanker pouring in fuel down the 1/4 above the car  )

No Zytec minker style management  or megasquirt here folks its airflow meter crap all the way

Hmm 11.1 that's some serious power then as it probably weighs 1200kg or so.

Maybe even the most powerful 12V around.

Genghis run a 12.29 with his T25 equiped sierra which was only 330bhp. In a spaceframe chassis I think you could get into the 11's with only that power
The terminal speed is the giveaway - genghis only run 105 mph.
It's possible to run 11.1 at only 115 as my friend did when he tried the gas on the chevy engine - it spun a bearing on the way down but because of the extra ground covered in the 1/8 he run the same time as without gas - he run 11.1 /129 mph with no gas

I bet that cortina run under 120 mph terminal. I doubt it was more than 380bhp all told, its just had enormous torque from all the boost and it falls down in the second 1/8

Yeah I agree, a good time means you have got good traction.
A high speed means you have lots of power.

It's all guess work

But based on the car looks a tad heavy, it had 4 wheel drive I think & ran 11.1 it's gota be 400bhp at least I would say.

If the car was doing low 11s most of the time it must be.

There is always a chance of a mega fast run, where everything comes together & you suddenly run half a second quicker than normal or so.

Best to do 5 or 6 runs work out the average & work out figures from that.

My Minker is a weighed 1377kg without me in it.
It's average time was 13.4
It's dynoed at 339bhp/406lbs
Fastest time 13.2
Fastest terminal 107

I need to work on me start abit & try to change gear @ 4500rpm rather than the 6000rpm I am doing. Bloody hard to do.
This will suit the engine better & the time should drop into the 12s.

To get back on topic abit I think the above is over kill.
It could have been a better engine with either just the turbo's or a supercharger.
It's to complicated for it's own good!

Tis only my opion thou.

Not sure on the 1/4 times on the cortina, he ran at York dragstrip. The engine get removed and fitted to the sierra in the pics. That has been on Ebay a few times since.

The cortina has now got a V8 in it. Something like a big block 7L, oh and its got turbos on that as well  !!!!

The flight deck !!!
