few questions on a bob 2.9 v6

ive got a 2.0 twinky cozzy rep and bought a bob engine loom and auto gearbox

the loom is cut  :o wasnt to pleased to see this and didnt realise this until i had it home
so i bought a boa engine bay loom and i was just wondering will my bob engine harness mate onto this or do i need a boa engine harness?
and also will my ecu work without the pat's system with this loom?

Hello mate where is the loom cut ? Any pics .

Bob ecu needs the pats working with the key, most if they don't have it all seem to go Boa ecu etc. I'm not really that up on them as I run aftermarket on mine but someone on here will help out.

I've heard of aftermarket looms. Somebody told me they could get one made up for £200? Is this right enough? 
I'll be at the shed tomorrow I've the loom spread across the floor and I've worked out a fair bit of it. The engine harness is ok then on around to the engine bay loom is not to bad really. It continues on to the relay box (box with a lot of plugs into the back of it) then one of the plugs I think from what I can judge goes on to the fuse box. Although some of the wires from this are cut. I'm not sure if this will effect the pats system? 
Then there are the rest of the looms from the car. Lighting radio speaker wires indicators brake light switch etc. I've ruled these out. I may if I could find a diagram study the loom and solder the parts I need together again and dispose of unnessary wires out of the loom and try and lighten it. Could anyone tell me where I could get this info? 
I'll post pictures tomorrow. Thanks for any help or posts

Your best going for a BOA ecu, BOA engine loom from a single fusebox car and an engine harness from the BOA.

My website has details of the single fusebox car's engine loom multiplugs.

hi i think im going to just opt for the boa loom because the bob loom is missing alot of boxes etc   :'(

ive got the boa engine bay loom already  now i just need the ecu and engine harness

does anyone know will i still achieve 210bhp with the boa loom?

You need a rpm window switch to operate the VIS if you use a boa loom.

I run mine with the vis locked closed on the BOA ecu. It made 220bhp at the flywheel.

But you lose alot of torque in the midrange by keeping the vis closed.

Yes you would but as Paul says you loose torque/power in other area's if the VIS don't work as it should.

im not a total numpty i just have never heard of this 

and can anybody help me come a cross a engine harness and ecu?
i would like to keep the engine and all its torque as it should although using the bob loom has numerous issues

it will be extremely difficult to keep tidy in and around the engine bay
i have plug ends there but no boxes to go onto them
will my loom work after getting wet?
and the one i have is cut  (will get pics loaded asap)

 Didn't see that sorry. But very well explained :).  How do I resolve this? I have no pipes etc lol what can I buy to do away with this system? Like I mean what are all the different options?  How many window switches are there to choose from? Still needing a boa engine harness and ecu. Can anybody help?

Hi folks.  Recently came across a boa loom  ;D I started last night t strip down the engine and saw the looms over 
I took the inlet off and injector rail to expose the loom removed it and fitted the boa.
My problem. Mow is it seems. Will have t extend my throttle position sensor wire?.

Next problem I have is to d with all the vacuum pipes in and around the engine. What d. Need? And what can. I do away with? I will try my best to get pictures uploaded tomorrow as I'm off work for my holidays

You have to extend the tps wire, but that's not a difficult job.

You only need vacuum for the brakes, the egr and for the vis.

Ok through my build a bit more now to change the gearbox to manual what do I need to put in the hole where the slicker shaft goes? I know it's a bearing of some sort but to order It i would like to know exactly which one? I also would like to know what all vacuums I need to block?
I guessed the injector wiring because the numbers were not on them but they're handy enough changed if they're wrong

And I need a throttle cable which cable should I go for?

I used the BOB cable cut and a new end crimped on for the throttle.
You need a spigot bearing for the xr4x4 or any v6 manual. Think the pinto one will also go in.

Thank you I need t get this ordered before I go any further. Believe it or not the bob engine harness I have is for the bin. The plastic on the wire has gone hard and brittle and the wire is exposed
