Hi Guys,
OK, so I've got the WDS fired up after it's long lay up.
I had to "jump start" it's Battery Pack, by removing it and Charging the Cells for a little while but now it has booted up and is doing the Battery Conditioning Cycle, and looks like it will work ok, but I have a problem lol
Touch Screen Calibration is so far out that I can't get at the icons in the corner, to even hit the stuff in the centre of the screen I have to touch it about 25mm down and to the left, so no chance of hitting the WDS Icon in top left of screen :(
I know there is a way to recalibrate it but it's been so long I can't remember ;D
Anyone know how ??
Cheers Dave

Go to the system utilities screen and scroll down to the re-calibrate touchscreen

Hi Paul,
Thanks, yeah, I will have to wait then ...........
I have an old "round pin" Keyboard that works on it, but the only 2 mouses I have are USB with round adaptor plug and Windows 98 doesn't work with them.
I bought an old stylee Mouse yesterday, off EBay, that is suitable for Windows 98, but won't be here until next week :(
Never mind, plenty else to do ;)
Cheers Dave

Hi,
OK "Beetle Mouse" arrived in the post today, plugged it in and re booted WDS, excellent !!
I was then able to hit the Icons, so I've Re-Calibrated the Touch Screen and it is now doing a Battery Cycle ;D
Should all work fine then ;D
I am waiting on a 128mb RAM stick that I found on EBay for a couple of £'s that may help the old girl along a bit
Cheers Dave

Glad to see it up and running. So more memory helps WDS a bit.

Hi Paul,
Yes, it is now reporting Batteries OK, but I bough 8 x 3900MAh NiMh batteries to make a spare pack, just in case ;)
Now...... Had I known, I didn't need to buy "Beetle Mouse" just to get at the Icon's with the Screen Cal way off, it turns out GENRAD thought of that scenario..........
If you press the red "off" button twice in quick succession it enters Screen Cal Mode, DOH !!
Should have read the Manual first lol.
Still it will be handy having a working Keyboard and Mouse ;)
Cheers Dave
