in length, the beamer rack looks very close to the capri rack.

It is a pretty good fit.

e36 rack (~10cm shorter than sierra power rack), e34 u-joint, need to get a bmw shaft with splines to go in that, to then weld it to the sierra part. Sierra shaft slides into the bmw u-joint and is held in with the locking bolt, but there are no splines, so no driving with that

Even with these big tires and big offset, clearance looks good.

As for the down pipe. Normally you use a socket with a flexible piece and a extension to reach the 2 nuts. Key is to get get the car high enough to get as much room underneath the car as possible to maneuver your self in a good position.

     

How do I get the steering wheel off the Granada Cosworth.

Also the right exhaust drop down pipe off the manifold, there doesn't aeem to be any room or angle to get a socket on the two nuts from below.

Looks like the cross member sits nicely between the Capri rails.

Made a jig off capri rails, so after cutting them out, new one is set at the same height and centered
