you need to upgrade your servo to a 2.9 mate.

Other than that mate looking good, mine started off as an azura base too.

THEN

capri280

longer wheel studs fitted

WHICH WHEELS DO YOU PREFER

FRONT OR REAR

The rears i was going to use for track day what do you think

Janspeedcapri

I vote the front ones    - not sure about 5 spokes...they look too 90s.

Mik

Use the front multispoke for the road, they're much prettier and suit it well. The rears look like MO copies. Paint them black to pretend they're real. Would do ok for track days but they are a bit dated looking.

Car looks really good.

Mik.

capri280

Thanks for the comments and i was leaning towards the momo corse multi spokes on the front

Looks great mate and i could be planning one of these as my next project when i finish my 24v capri, always loved the sapphires and have had a couple of YB cossie one's and fancy building a 24v one now as you can build a seriously nice car for very little money.

Like your number plates, what style font are they do you know as would like a set with the similar font.

V6 POWER JUNKIE

If It Ain't Going Sideways I Don't Care!!

Count

Please.. Share the info on how you got your alloybits so nice and clean.

Transit RS

nice project   top job your doing!!

out of interest how much did the electroplating set you back?

cheers

capri280

Electro plating cost 30.00 for biscuit tin full

Rusty items not a problem but painted items need to be stripped back before plating

TwinTurbo

Count

Was thinking about your heads...  They been electroplated as well?

capri280

Heads have been painted with engine laqure

Remko GT

Looks tidy! Sweet looking floormats you got there, where did you get those?

Why those hideous spring thingies covering your braided hoses?

Count

Are those Samco hoses for your 24v?
I wasn't aware they made those! :O
