24v boa core plug popped

hi guys ive just had the core plug popped out of my 24v boa on the oil filter side in my sierra and was wondering why it done this and if it means bad news? i was drifting coming out of a road end in second gear so wasnt getting that much of a heating previous. engine never uses water, any advice would be appreciated and where i would be best to get a new one from as ebay etc dont seem to sell them anywhere.
