Hell, if someone gave me a Tesla powertrain, i'd do it.

We already looked into it. The drive train is small and easy to fit/covert. Its the big and heavy battery pack and the electronics of the Tesla that would be a problem. To make the Telsa battery pack fit you will need to re-design the floor of the car. As for the electronics i would go for a separated engine controller/energy recovery system and a traction control would be nice due the instant torque.

a conversion with Telsa parts can be done and properly already is done. The main concern would be the law. In the Netherlands such a DIY conversion will always be seen as a new car as you have to change more then 30% of the car to make everything like battery pack, motor and drivetrain fit. Because it will be seen as a new car the regulations are much stricter and the cost will be high to make to pass the inspections.

I totally agree with you.
They were best bang for the buck for getting easy bolt on Power.
The bearings said Ford on them, so  ;D that part was not touched by anyone.
I guess i'll make some sort of "art" with it, i still like that engine, just yeah parts hard to get or not available.

Boa-s bearings got hurt, when tensioner bits clogged up the oil pickup

Very common with high mileage or high stressed 24v Cosworth. Most people forget that with only 20.000 BOA/BOB produced by Ford and the last produced 24v BOB is already 24 years old now and a rebuild can get expensive as parts for the 24v BOA / BOB are rare for the last 10 years, how hard it is to say for me and you are right about that, its time to move on. If you want a decent Ford engine Duratec's are the way to go.

That will replace the Boa in the Fiesta, you saw in the video

Boa-s bearings got hurt, when tensioner bits clogged up the oil pickup :'( new big end bearings installed, but not gonna bother replacing the guides. Had a thought going duratec HE, but this Duratec37 got offered.

I like it.

Its also sold in a '15 to '19 Transit with a 6 speed automatic. Sadly with only 275 hp they had the lowest HP output of all the 3.7 and they were only sold in the states.
