7.5" long diff bolt

hi folks, im not sure if this this is the correct thread but i have miss placed the long through bolt on my 7.5" lol. so i was wondering if i could tap both ends and use 2 smaller bolts.

any help would be great

The long bolt is also used to get strenght on the diff mounthing (bending forces)
