It makes more power on 8 psi than the cossy f1 engine

yes but it's Massively heavier and there is a little delay between the pedal action and the trust.

I dont think the F1 engine is very driveble on the street, nor will it be user friendly.

So the v8 turbo isnt a bad idea. That one is street friendly and has more usable power over the rpm band. You can have a aluminium version of it to lower the weight even more. The iron small block is lighter than a 24v cosworth. A aluminium version is 50 kg lighter.

I dont think i want a car revving 15k on the road. Someone i know has 3 touring cars, a merc e190 evo2, a alfa 24v, the brick shaped car, and a opel calibra dtm original, the opel goes to 13k in revs, you literally go mad driving it he says, becouse its quite slow in normal driving, becouse at 8k you shift, and the engine doesnt have much power at 8k, but, they are really cool machines to see, the merc has some really battle damage, a wrinkled panel and a few "dodgy" repairs, its only a shame the car doesnt have its original decals, and a few tweeks to the original, its been used in german hillclimbs and has a way to modern dashboard and such. Still, one of my dream cossies
