Got great customer service from Gunson this week

About 3 years ago I bought one of their timing guns that was half price. I am a sucker for a good deal!

Anyway I have a Snap On one that I use day to day so it got stored away.

Lent out my normal gun so dug this Gunson gun out to check the TT DCU timing for Timo on here.

I managed to melt the inductive pick-up with in 30 seconds

The second time it's been used.


Sent an email to Gunson saying I was a muppet for melting it & could I buy another pick-up.

Within 30 mins a top guy said he would sort it out & what's my address.

Next day a new complete replacement lead arrived free of charge.


If only Snap-On was so good!!!   Fair play Gunson

a long time ago, Snap on was really good. But now......... warranty is a bitch.

Im only using snapon for my socket wrench set, and my impact tool, all the other tools are gedore, never destroyed anything made by gedore!

My timng gun is almost antique, it burnt a few components a while ago, but, i got me a pair of new ones, and it works perfectly again, to bad it isnt a light easy to carry one, but, ill have to do with it!
