I'm going to be replacing an engine on a 2007 Galaxy 2.0 tdci and want any info on how to do this. Is the engine on a subframe and drop down with the box and suspension. Thanks.

I'd undo the gearbox to engine bolts.

Put a jack under the gearbox so it sits at a 30 degree angle.

And lift the engine out.

Refitting is a bit of a faf but unless you want to take of the subframe and taking out the engine/gearbox in one go, this is the easiest option.

I used to replace 2.0 diesel engines from Astras and Zafiras and taking it out from the top is the best bet by far!
