de-coking exhaust ports

hi

currently in the middle of cleaning my 24v and there is quite a build up of carbon in the exhaust ports, i want to clean this out, what is the best way?

is there a liquid that you can buy, or household product?
i was thinking of trying alloy wheel cleaner.

i am a bit afraid to use wire brush or simular as ithe dirt may go down into the bore and i want to avoid having to remove the heads.

any advice would be apreaciated

Turn the crank so the exhaust valve closes. Now you can uses a wire brush or wheel or a scraper to remove the carbon, use a vacuum cleaner to suck the remains out of the port and compressed air to blow away any leftovers that you cant reach with the vacuum cleaner.
