ive been plumbing in the cooling system today on my 24v capri and found it a bit of a squeeze to get the exspansion tank to fit anywhere, so ive been thinking about plumbing it without the tank, is this ok to do? if so do i put the small hose from the top of the rad to the small hose on the thermostat

The expansion tank is there for a reason and is needed.

you can move it under the inner wings and make 1 hole for the cap.
