Message notifications

Hi All, mainly the moderators,

The last few 'New Message' notifications I have received, have been in Dutch, any idea why that has happened. I haven't changed my profile to say I want Dutch messages or anything like that.

i looked into your profile settings and see that the language choice is english. dont really know where it goes wrong. we will take a look at it.

Well, maybe it's fixed because the notification email for this reply was in English.

Due to having a lot of spammers on this forum my brother (fordrwd4ever) is having a go at new forum software.

It could be coz he's running from a dutch firm the site is in dutch.

I've told him this and he will look into it.

Any reply is a good reply.

He's trying to sort the forum out coz there's been loads of spammers and people trying to hack the site.

Paul's been a great help too.

Olaf is trying to get the forum watertight as possible, but there could be a couple of glitches here and there.

Bare with him.

Well some low lifes for about a month now have been trying real hard to crack Ford Power, we have been fighting them off but the old software was a little limited, hence this new software to beef up our defenses

There will be glitches so bare with us & let us know of any problems.

Olaf has put alot of hours into this so a big Thankyou again! to him 8)

Would seem some of your punters didn't get the email that was sent out and are asking whats happened to Fordpower, will post your new link on Powered By Ford for any more that are astray

you can still reach the site by http://www.fordpower.org.uk

i think most still use the old link (http://www.fordpower.org.uk/forum1/index.php) in there favorits. they can chance the address in the properties to http://www.fordpower.org.uk/forum2/index.php
