Ok, after a bit of a battle it`s official.

There will be no DB limit at EFE this year  

Ok, now something else...

We want to organise a decent clubstand at EFE this year.
The costs are just 10 Euro per member.
The only downside is that all tickets have to be paid in advance,so you guys and gals have to trust us on this  

If anyone is interested, let me or Jurgen (cossiemk2) know.
Closing date is 31th this month, so there is some time to think about it.

Hoping you get afew of the English come over again this year. I know a couple of UK clubs making the trip over.........snowed under with work atm after my 2 weeks holiday so no chance of me getting over there this year.

I could send out a mass pm to all eu members to announce it, but i find that kinda of aggressive..

I think we must wait a bit and see who wants to join us

like i said in my efe topic, witch i cant find anymore for some reason. one off the main reasons is the 0-100-0 runs and no decent head up's sprints.

what i heard about the sound limit, this year they will not measure the db levels, but they will next year.

Well, i am going ,and so will Jurgen,hope his mk2 escort has been setup on the rollers by then.
Should be good for a few quick times in the sprint

I won't be attending this year, there will be a small contingent going over this year from the XROC but I don't think any of them are the normal brit crowd doing the sprints. I'd like to return another year but not sure when this will be, done the show for 9 years on the trot until 2008 and have always enjoyed it.

Will be in Ireland this year and fitting my new kitchen which will be taking most of my funds

Hope all who go enjoy themselves and the venue is all it cracks up to be.

my car is not build/setup for 0-100-0 runs, but for drag racing and sprints.

i wunder how they gone measure the 0-100-0 times and how do they know if you drive exactly 100 before you hit the brakes ? that takes some serieus timing equipment.

Dus trekt jou auto op in 9 seconden op van 0-100 km/u dan leg je globaal een afstand van 200 meter af.

this 0-100-0 sprints is also not mentioned on the englisch or german page. that could be a big disapointment for some people.

looking at the picture off the field, its not very big. the road they doing the 0-100-0 on is 6 meters wide. so there is no space for a head's up race with 2 cars. so its single cars only than.

with 0-100 or 150 meter sprints they need more room.

one off the big attractions on efe was the head's up race with 2 cars. thats what alote off people wants to see and do them selfs. thats why they dont say 0-100-0, affraid alote off people dont show up.

the point is, they advertice with: The Ford XR/RS club traditionally run sprint & slalom events down the track all day.
in dutch: Wie wil zijn snelle opgevoerde Ford niet eens testen in een sprint om te kijken welke tijd jij en je concurenten neerzetten? Wij dagen alle stoplicht racers uit om bij deze mee te doen!

who doesn't want to test his fast ford to see what time you and your competitors are able to? we challenge all street race to join!

even the flyer does not mention 0-100-0 runs but sprints.

but there are no traditionally sprints (head up's sprints with 2 cars, side by side) this year according there sprint side, but 0-100-0 runs and thats something completly different. and in my eyes (and i can be wrong) this is misleading advertising.

Well , i have send everyone an e-mail about this.
It also says how to get the tickets.
(took a while, because the mailer kept bombing out..)

When there are enough members interested, i will book the stand for us  
That`s why i need to know how much cars are going to attend

Sure you can come over, just as long as there are 5 or more cars, then i can book the stand for all of us
Just wait till we know who is coming over and how much cars we are going to have.
