Hello everyone,

It's Steve a 22 year-old '86 Merkur owner. I also have a '92 Scorpio Cosworth as a donor. I'd like to rebuild the XR4 fitted with the 24v and a type 5 gearbox. I'll try to share my pics as soon as i can.
Nice forum with loads of infos and useful links and a great place to talk with other 'Ford men'.
Regards.

I didn't want to open a new topic in the 'Gallery/Members car' section, so i'll post my pics here. If it's a problem then please let me know!

Here is my bro's XR4i, crashed 2 years ago.

There's something with attaching files. It did not upload the pics, but used the space.

Yes, running gear and engine from a Cosworth. What's the problem with the 5 studs?
(You call it mk3 Granada, but we use to call mk1 Scorpio. I never understood why is this so....)

No problem i just took it you hadn't used anything off the Granada/Scorpio as yet, so wondered if Merkur's had 5 stud for some reason... :-D

It's been a long time since i was here so i think it's time to show what i found under the christmas-tree.

As you can see they are not the 3part rims but all brand new never worn tire.
