Fiesta Sport 02mod

IÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,ve been offered a cheap 2000mod Fiesta 1.6 16v Sport. With a broken engine.
IÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,m not familiar with the Fiesta Sport, havenÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,t seen the car yet either, but it sounds like a fun car. Around 100hp and sport suspension, IÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,ve been told.

IÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,ve been looking a bit for a second hand engine, and been told this car has a Zetec S in it, anyone who can confirm this? Anybody know the engine code? Would a 1.6 out of a Focus fit?

Sounds very like our Zetec S fiesta, they share engines with the Focus 1.6 with the zetec s engine but they do seem to have a habit of drinking oil if unloved hence why they go bang as they run out

It might have another name in UK. In Norway and Germany, itÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,s Fiesta Sport. ItÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,s a Zetec-S engine - 1,6 16v and 76kW/103PS.
ThereÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,s only a few of them in Norway, so I have to search for an engine from another Ford (Focus?). Therefore, IÃ,,Ã,,žÃ,d like to know how hard it is to get another engine before I buy the car...

Anyone know the engine code?

the engine code is on the engine block on the bellhousing section i seem to remember  

it should have the engine size next to it and is easily spotted from looking up from underneath  

pretty sure the engine is the same as the focus had as well, as lately manufacturers dont want to change too much on the engines or their internals
