BAD BAD News Littlegems in hospital.

So ya all know,

Toby "littlegems" has been involved in a car accident and is in hospital...

I am sure we all hope for a speedy recovery and our thoughts are with them.

Gosh that sounds terrible but many make a complete recovery nowadays. I'll also wish him a speedy recovery.

just got back

emma says thankyou to everyone for their wishes an thoughts.
toby is still unconscious and on the drugs to keep him steady for the next couple of days then when numerous swellings have gone down they can start doing tests to find out any problems.

shes says she will keep us informed of toby's progress

these were well looked after vintage cars an the owners of them are all friends of toby an emma mate.

toby was riding in a vintage car which was at the wedding they was attending. the brakes are belived to of failed

little update

i txt emma to see how things were.
she says toby is stable but no change still keeping him out cold for the next 24 hours at least.

Thanks for the update mate - Stable sounds o.k... the body will take time when youve hurt yourself but its an amazing thing and can recover from incredible damage.

No update as yet acording to John Harrison on XROC.

It's not uncommon to keep peeps well sedated after major trauma, it prevents the liklyhood of involuntary reaction and complications like extream blood preasrure causing more damage.

We just have to cross our fingers and hope he pulls through on good form. And hope to see him fit for ford fair next year,

little update

spoke to emma last night and the docs have reduced the medication a bit cause they are happy with tobys condition at the moment
he is stable now

but he does have to have a major op at 10.00 monday morning
so she asks us all to have a good think for toby at that time.
still a long way to go

im going to see him sunday so ill update you all when i get back.
and once again emma says thank you for everybodys good wishes an prayers.

best wishes from overhere ofcourse, always bad to hear someone is serious harmed in an accident, and offcourse everyone knows hospitals suck and you would'nt want to be there for what reason!

don't know there is any equivalent in english, but: Toi toi toi!

just got back from visiting toby an emma.
he is stable an enjoying the drugs!! :wink:

he has that normal toby look as if to say im trying to have a sleep here! :D

the operation has been cancelled for now cause he has a very mild chest infection an the docs would rather wait for it to clear

emma says she will let me know any developments and ill post them here

according to this topic, he is fallen victum to the Swine Flu and doctors are treating him.

If you pm him and dont get a response, you he isnt ignoring you its just that he is pretty rough at the moment.

im on the mend so a little update

just spoke to emma and the good news is toby is awake an can nod an shake his head. responding to basic commands and trying to communicate

doctors are happy with condition at the moment updates as an when
