Anyone fited Gas lifts to their bonnet?

I have a pair of salvaged Scorpio Gas Lifts and would like em on my Saff..

yep, i did it on both capri's v8. i have done it on almost every car i owned.

measure the distance open and closed on the rear tail gate and transfer these distance to the bonnet.

make sure the mounthing points are strong.
