hiya ive got a 1991 sierra 4x4 the car is lowered 40 mil and its on spax shortened shox ive got a set of Mondeo 16s like the escort gti wheels ive put them on but there rubbin but im nt sure were i don't think there rubbing on the arches i just wondard if any one else has had this problem thanks jay

What tyres are you running??

When i had a set on my sapphire i ran  205/40/16's and had no rubbing issues.

that's what's on them mate they seem to really rub when you turn the wheels to the point were u carnt really drive the car ive been told that the tyre could be close to the shocker

If you take a rear wheel off you should see some marks where they been rubbing. Either on the tyres as scratches / blue burnt / feathering, or underseal / paint / general shite scraped off under the arch / shock etc  

I run 16's on mine, slammed ride height and the problems i get are only with big sidewalls. If its is either get some lower profiles or use a bit of stretch. .

its on the front mate were its rubbing

Do they rub in normal straight line driving or is it worse on bumps or full / partial lock ?

Any noise?

Sounds like they are catching on the arches then (could also be on the arb / chassis). Worth checking for tyre scrub to see exactly where they are catching, but a lowered Sierra running 16's with an offset of 40 will prob need arches rolling.
