sierra xr 4x4 shocks are 2wd shocks the same ?

this might be a silly question im looking at a set of front and rear shocks via this board, and they came off a 2wd sierra does anyone know if they will fit the xr4x4 as i dont want to have any issues or cause problems for the seller thanks in advance

hmmm seen notes that say the fronts will fit too think i might just bite the bullet and buy them n see if they go worse comes to the worst can sell them back on i guess

Yup, the front strut diamiter is bigger on the 4x4.

its a set of struts n springs i think, not too sure what the actual names of parts are on cars lol im more of a bike mechanic koni front set including springs and bilstein rear with springs

I have 2wd coilovers on my 4x4 front hubs, but you need to make a spacer shim. I got a tube machined up, cut a slot in the side and fitted to the strut. If you can get machine work done its not hard to do.
