After the wifes waters breaking yesterday (wednesday) morning at 4am she finally gave birth, with a little help of the foreceps after 16hrs, at 1am (thursday) this morning to a little baby girl weighing in at a nice 7lb 3oz called amy        

After being up 24hrs straight i'm off to bed for a couple of hours.

Unfortunatly, at the moment I've got the Police around trying to deal with my 14 year old stepdaughter (ironically also called Amy) who is basically just a mental bitch. She has caused more grief in the past 12 months than I've suffered in my whole life (I'm a very handsome 35 yr old  )

Bringing up kids is great, it just leaves you bald, grey, broke and with no finger nails.

puberty can be a nightmare for some kids as well. as a 14 year old kid, i also was like a explosive, i was right and everone else was wrong, got into fights and always in trobble whit authority. it did not matter if it where my parence, teachers, the police or anyone else that tryed to boss me around. it took awile before i got calmer and got over it, for the most part. hey, i am turning 40 saterday and i still have problems whit authority   but i can understant your frustration, anger and being powerless to the situation.

it does not mean that amy could become like 14 year old amy or me (at that age), whit some luck, she turns out a very nice person at that age. time will tell.

Swings and roundabouts. Now everythings calmed down and she loves everyone. Mental.

Hormones are a bugger. Its amazing (and very frustrating) to watch just how much they can mess with a kids head.

The early years are the best as they make such massive leaps.

One day they're holding out their arms for a hug, the next they're holding out their hands for some cash.

Some things will never change.
