quick mpg question

drove to wales and back today covering about 240-50 miles.i used 34 litres of super unleaded
in my 24v 4i.had an go with a volvo t4 via wales and only just piped it,whats in these volvos?
anyway question is can somebody work out the mpg please. YES I AM THICK.

240 miles and say 6.8 gallons of fuel = 35 mpg, very very good!

That's only roughly by the way, I went on 5 litres being about a gallon

cheers. so what lump does the volvo t4 have.they had a car full also and i was only slighlt pulling away.the was me plus another and the dog and a full tank of fuel lol
