can i use the granada boa automatic starter motor on me manual box type 9

It would seem thats what was on mine when I removed the type 9 to replace it for the MT75 box. Infact I have one spare if you need it and I'm in Derby, where abouts are you?

hey up bud mine is ok i started the car for the first time on saturday and when it got warm there was a scraping noise coming from the box area it seems to have gone now
but was just wondering if it mite of been the starter with it coming off an auto

thanks for the offer though bud (im in sinfin by the way)

Yes starters are the same That noise you heard is the adaptor plate between eng/box they all do it more so when warm Barry
