Diesel Radiator

Am i right in thinking that the Diesel sierra rad has a larger core / cooling capacity than the V6 rad ?
And if so does anyone have one to sell please ? (Dave)

I think the 24V uses a diesel rad as standard.

How's the "Beast" coming along Paul? Mine's running now just waiting a trip to pipecraft.

Simon, not much change mate, got my TVR alt bracket at last so i can shut the lid now  

Need to change the rad as the inlet/outlet are round the wrong way hence the post, also gotta chop out the slam panel as theres only a gnats between that & the drive belt.
Gotta get to pipecraft myself at some stage & get my cerbera pipes bent to the right angle.
As usual works getting in the way and i cant be arsed to go out in this weather.
Still nice to here that your close to "lift off" come see me when she's sorted.

What spec diesel rad are you after? 2.3 Pug or 1.8 Kent TD? I'll have an ask about.

Once I've been to see Dean at Pipecraft, then the real fun begins - painting the interior, fitting the cage, tidying the wiring, installing the dash and then making seat mounts. After that it's rub down and prep, fit the body kit and off to the paint shop.

Aiming for a Ford Fair finish...

Well its got to cool the V8 so probly the 2.3, i have found a V8 ambulance in the local breakers with a brand new LDV rad thats about 2.5 inches thick, but the buggers too wide for the sierra

Scorpio 2.5TD rad is the one you want

Yes as Marty says the Diesel Granada & Cossie use the exact same rad.

Scorpio diesel (bug eye) has a intercooler attatched to the side of it.

Anything over 2.0L should be O.K.

The YB Cossie rad has the connections on the wrong side which sounds like what your after

Hiya Dave, i need the inlet(top) on the nearside an the outlet on the off side.
So i could buy a cossie rad (Add 250% to price) i keep thinking about that LDV rad its a way sexy bit of kit, but i would have to faff about mounting it  TVR style under the front apron and its got no mounting points so would have to fabricate some sort of cradle to hang it in....oh bugger time to get me ford discount working an give the dealers a ring.

That looks like a 2.0L 4be rad to me, possibly the same as a Cossie but I don't know for sure.
