Good evening chaps, has any one out there ever managed to set up the valve timing on the 4.0 ohc explorer engine without the special tools? if so how. have a mate with an explorer, he has taken it to bits and having problems putting it back together, autodata does not make it clear how its timed and uses a heap of special tools that I cannot justify buying for this one vehicle, any advice would be good.
