Building a XR4x4'd Pug 205

I'm just starting a build on a Peugeot 205 that I'm intending to use XR4x4 mechanicals under (lots of work - I know). I'll probably use a 24v engine if one pops up at the right price. Previously I've built a twin turboed, Rover V8 powered, spaceframed Reliant Kitten that I ran at the drags.

Sounds like a fun project you've got going there! I've got a mate who's nearly finished his 205 project he's using 2 3.0 litre V6s from the 406 coupe, one in the front and one in the back    He's just got the tricky bit of the management and all the linkages left to go. Can't wait to have a spin when he's finished, here's hoping it doesn't just go round in circles

I did seriously consider a twin engine route but chose the XR4x4 option as it should give more predictable handling.

So is this gonna look like a 1.6 GTi Street Sleeper or resemble a Group B car?

Nearer the group B. 2.5 inches extra track on the Ford and I believe the Pug wheels whilst having the same pcd have that bit extra in them too so bigger arches of some description will be the order of the day.
