Ford Europe Microcat 2015 (working virtual machine available on request)

I have made a torrent out of the latest Ford Microcat.

Only works on a 32 bit WIndows Vista, 7 or 8(.1), so no 64 bit os and also no XP..

Just run setup from disk1 , choose Germany as your region.
After installing, copy all files from the Crack folder to c:\microcat, overwrite all existing files.

Remove c:\windows\mg16.dll (sometimes also in c:\windows\system32...)
To run, start Microcat.bat (no, not the exe...)

enjoy..

I have made a working Virtual Machine out of it.
This is available on request(has to come from my home server, as it`s very big... 15GB)

Thanks for the upload, much appreciated.
Ive installed on a Win 7 32bit pc and getting error "please insert disk containing \mc1234." This happens a few seconds after accepting 'german' as a language.
Any ideas please?

I work in IT, so not thick when it comes to these things. It failed at same stage on Win 10 preview (64 bit) laptop as well.

I don`t have a 32 bt Windows on any of the pc`s @ home.
Too bad VirtualBox doesn`t work on Windows 10 Enterprise Preview, but that`s what i normally use.

I just made a Windows 7 Enterprise vm (32 bit) on another pc and installed Microcat without any problems @ all.

You do need the RunAsDate tool to force Microcat.exe to run @ 23 june 2014.
Also needs administrator privileges to run.

Looks like your download is somehow corrupted..

I can give you a link to the VirtualBox vm if you need it..

Hi
I have got Vmware player installed on 1 pc so i will try to install it on there.
My Windows 7 (x86) i tried installing it on was not on VM pc, just a straight version of Windows. I dont need to mount the files to make them think there are runnning from cd / dvd do i?
I sandboxed the files as they came down in case AVG thought there was anything dodgy in them, so im sure nothing has got deleted during download.
Admin privileges are not a problem.
Microcat is failing during install, so i presume the date doesnt need changing until you try running the program to use it?!

No,during install nothing needs to be altered in any way.
After installing,delete c:\windows\system32\mg16.dll

Copy Microcat.exe,Microcat.bat and mg16.dll to c:\microcat.

Edit the microcat.bat file to set the path to microcat.exe (mine was at e: )

Should work then..

P.s. also works in a XP virtual machine,can give you the link if you'll need it (10Gig file...)

Sorry for the delay in answering, been doing other stuff.
I cant get it to work on 2 other pcs ive tried either. Ive not tried it on the VM option yet.
Im getting the message during the installation phase, so no where near the deleting files before running stage

American keyboards donr seem to have '\' on either - how do they they put file paths in?

No,i only have Microcat because that's really all i'll need to find the parts needed..

Will change the vm to English,because it's in Dutch now.
That will be kinda hard for you to understand

Mm,you're the second one with problems...
Can you check if both the Disk1 and the Disk2 folders contain an empty file called mc1234 ?
That's what the installer is looking for.

And no, vm player isn't necessary as it even installs fine on Windows 10 Preview (x64)..

There should be one in each folder..
Just create an empty txt file called mc1234 in both folders and then retry the installation.
Should work ok then

Just checked the torrent and there is an empty file mc1234 in the Disk1 folder.
Maybe it gets deleted after downloading.
Ok,windows doesn't like 0 byte files..

Is this deffo a txt file as I have named it mc1234 and put it in disc1 folder with autorun etc and still asking for it tried browsing for it when it asks and wont find it

You did remove the extension of the file?

By default Windows hides the extension for known filetypes.
So your file probably is now called mc1234.txt
Best way to change the name is to open a cmd window and go to the installation folder.
Then just type ren mc1234.* mc1234

Almost correct..
Ren is a command..
So type the following :
ren mc1234.* mc1234
So the resulting filename is just mc1234 without any extension

Then just run the microcat.bat file.
All it does is change the date to 23 june 2014 , then start the microcat program.
Afterwards if changes the date back to the current.

When starting the program, it will be in Russian.
Don't worry,just check the help file on how to create a new user.
(The buttons are the same in Russian)
After that,you can login and use the program.
In the top left there is a pull down menu, there you can set the language..
It will remember your choice.

I have managed to do it now only problem is even after running the date thing I have still got to reset my computers clock to the 23 june 2014 if I don't says its out of date

ok, sometimes that does happen..
some pc`s taken more time to load then program (and by then the date has been reset to today)
You can either change the value of delay in microcat bat (increase it to say 90) or just set the dat of your computer to 23 june 2014 and then start the program
