hello

it been a while since I registered on this site and I've never presented.
I'm french and I caught the virus from ford or rather he caught me!

I currently have a Ford Taunus mk1 (cortina mk3 equivalent) with a 2.0 pinto.
My project is to put a single turbo engine boa.

I've traveled this forum and it helped me!
Some already know me as mike (buying parts).

excuse me for my terrible English!

Soon I would put pictures of my toy.

Hi,

Nice car you have there.
The Mk1 Taunus is a beautiful car to see, just too bad there aren`t many left..

And don`t worry about your English, it`s good enough ;D
Keep it very sideways..

Welcome along  ;D

Good to see there's French people with the Ford bug, thought it was only us on this little island

Looking forward to seeing the progress with the 24v in the Taunus though

Hello and welcome Nicolas.

That's a nice ford you have there and the plans sound great    and you English is better than my French mate  ;D

Thank you for your welcome.
For the project is expected to stay with a stock motor in a first time .
I'm missing a few things for this team but I gradually.

I already have the manifolds, 440cc injectors , AAC BOB , I retrieve a complete redo beams ( and this is not easy... )

Regarding the gearbox, I look for a toyota supra R154 but I do not know how to adapt and find the right clutch... if you have any ideas let me know!
To the drive shaft it will be a hybrid between that of the box and the bridge.
Engine management I would go for a MegaSquirt 2 or 3.
For the rear axle I can have a Mustang 8 " but I'm afraid that the ratio ( 2.70 I think) is too long .

All those who will want to help me clarify some points are welcome !
And even just to chat with passionate...

Nicolas

Ps: I was wrong it is not Mike but Mikey J that I bought the parts.

i received a message about pictures (don't working).
i have a problem to: i misteriously "lost" my entire folder about my car!!
i think it's a bug or a virus, so i don't have any pictures to set in the forum, sorry.

nitro31x

I am disgusted and very upset to have lost all my photos restoration among others!
As soon as I have time I will be posting new pictures.

fordrwd4ever

That's not good.
I hope you'll get your photo's back.

The few damaged photo's here are not important, yours are.

ah well it happens mate. overhere you find a few taunus still on the road, i spotted a beautifull white GT with really small alloy wheels, a black vinyl roof, and i've been told it's a 2.0 v6, was just a stunning car!

bonjour. i cant write the french language, but in my travels to france i've learned enough to eat and find what i want in le pattiserie, only the counting is still quite hard for me
